What is a non-stop sleeve?
This is a sleeve that does not require "special treatment" - the hem is distributed evenly along the entire length of the armhole.
Such a sleeve is also called a "shirt sleeve", as it is most often used in men's shirts and women's blouses.
But not only.
When sewing non-stop sleeves, beginners very often ask this or a similar question:
“I can’t fit the sleeve - it twists in front. The sleeve is cut correctly, according to the share. What could be my mistake, help!”
✅ In this case, it is necessary to cut the armhole according to the figure, put on the sleeve (you can pre-assemble the upper rim), mark 3 points of joining the armhole with the sleeve so that the front roll does not break, sweep at three points. Everything.
"The sleeve fits exactly in the armhole. I'm new to sewing, so it's a little unclear where to cut, without a sleeve, the product fits perfectly. There are not enough control points in the patterns."
✅ In tailoring, checkpoints are useless, as there is a correction during the fitting. If the sleeve is non-stop, then it is enough to evenly distribute the eyelet along the armhole.
