4. How to cut a boho dress with a trapezoid silhouette according to a simple ready-made pattern

We start by choosing a variation of style and length.

On the 2 drawing an example layout is shown that will be the most economical for both small and large sizes. We fold the fabric in half across, the edges are combined.

We cut out the back with a middle seam. Shelf - with fasteners. In the lower part there will be an imitation of the fastener, and on the yoke there will be a real one.

Sleeve with pleats.

A frill is a strip of fabric.

The width of the frill in the cut is from 12 to 15 cm, and the length is one and a half lengths of the bottom of the sleeve.

Coquette double - outlined twice.

Seam allowances 1 - 1,2 cm. Exceptions: neckline, armholes and sleeve hem - no allowance; along the side of the lower part of the shelf and along the bottom, the allowance can be increased to 1,5 cm.

After cutting, we perform notches at the waist, folding all 4 side cuts together. We retreat 5 cm from the waist notch and make a notch for the pocket.

5. How to sew a boho trapeze dress on a yoke at home - sewing sequence

1. We start with the processing of the yoke: we iron along the edge of the side, we grind the neck of each half of the yoke, if the yoke is with a fastener. If the yoke is solid, then we process the neck completely.
2. We process the sides of the shelf - we overcast, bend; we sew lace, if provided. If the bead is rounded, go to the bottom and stop without completing the processing. Processing of the bottom will continue after processing the side seams.
3. We combine the half-skid of the coquette and the shelves, we sweep the sides.
4. We connect the yoke with the shelf: we perform the assembly under the yoke, and then, having made a notch in the corner formed by the semi-relief and the assembly line, we sew the yoke. If necessary, adjust the lace.
5. We process the middle seam of the back.
6. Shoulder tuck on the back - optional and based on the type of fabric. It can be processed or left to fit the shoulder seams of the back.
7. We grind the sprout with an oblique trim from the same fabric as the dress. If desired, you can turn over the sprout.
8. We grind the burlap to the side cuts along the notches made after cutting, overcast, iron.
9. We process the shoulder seams and side seams.
10. We process sleeves: folds; frill assembly; we sew a frill, a seam, a bottom of a sleeve.
11. We sew the sleeve, distributing the fit evenly, but connecting the highest point of the eye with the shoulder point.
12. We process the bottom, loops and buttons. On the back, you can process the drawstring with ties.
