A mini-maxi trapezoid dress can be sewn both from chiffon in 2 - 3 layers, and from woolen fabric.

In the latter case, it is completed with a blouse or turtleneck. A dress (tunic) can also be paired with trousers.

Consumption depends on the size and length of the product.

With a fabric width of 140 cm, it will be from 150 to 225 cm.

On the left in the figure, the layout for small and medium sizes, as they say, run in one length.

At the same time, it will not work to avoid the middle seam of the back.

But large sizes - in Figure 2 on the right - can be cut without a seam, laying the back on the fold of the fabric.

In this case, the consumption increases slightly.

If you need to shorten the model to fit your height, then it is enough to lay the usual horizontal fold under the armhole on the patterns, stab it with tailor's pins and only then cut it (Figure 3):
