Sewing lessons from Vera Olkhovskaya
In this video, I present one more of my work from felt.
It is very easy to make such an application.
First, cut out the motifs of the top layer, using your imagination or a finished drawing.
Then, pinning with pins, we cut out the next layer, and after it the next one on the previous one ...
It turns out a kind of "sandwich" of felt. If there are many layers, like mine, you can split them in two. Process the top package with decorative stitches and beads.
Then sew by hand or on a typewriter the bottom layer pack.
The bottom bag is sewn or glued to the product - I used both threads and glue.
The top package is glued to the bottom and pinned with pins. A day later - you can wear it!
Such simple needlework made it possible to give a second life to an old boring hat.
As you can see, everything is quite simple, which is why felt applications are gaining more and more popularity among needlework lovers.
